I am married with two boys. I’m a lucky bloke. We life healthy, full lives. My wife Teresa has a strong interest in people’s welfare. She is continually researching and evaluating information on natural healthcare and nutravore eating. She plans to taking up a supportive role in the clinic over the next year, advising patients how to implement YinYang Medicine health advice and assisting during patient treatments. I have treated many of people in the course of my career - over 30,000 treatments in my 32 years of practice in Australia and New Zealand.  I earned the nickname ‘Dr. Phil’ in the community of Gisborne NZ, where I worked for 22½ years. I am proud of my achievements in natural healthcare; and have immensely enjoyed the privilege of gaining the confidence of such a wide diversity of people. I am qualified in the four YinYang Medicines: 1. Needling (the original, ancient medical science- not traditional Chinese, Japanese or Modern acupuncture nor dry needling), 2. Muscle Work & Bone Alignment. 3. Absorbed-ingested (through the mouth, nose or skin; nutrition, herbs, aromas, lotions ) 4. Relaxation-activity medicines. I studied under the guidance of my Si-Fu, Mr. Arthur Cunningham in the Wu-Chi School of Arts. The school teaching concepts was modelled some-what after the old apprenticeship system; where you became a private student, spending much time within the teachers home and work circle, where he would impart knowledge and you absorbed it by osmosis-immersion. Organic Food Production. My family were all farmers, and I have a deep interest and passion for fresh, nutrient-balanced, naturally grown food. My wife and I operated a market garden for several years. We supplied boxes of beautiful, freshly picked produce to approx. 40 families every week. I pursued knowledge on how to maximise protein and mineral content in the vegetables by maximising soil fertility and biology. I enjoyed battling the elements and coxing goodness from the stubborn soil. Interestingly, I learnt that much of the purist-knowledge on organic growing did not work and food grown by these methods is actually nutrient deficient. Consequently I learned a particular set of principles that could work in our commercial operation or in a home garden. There is nothing so good for your health, energy levels and sense of wellbeing as being able to exclusively eat vegetables within an hour of picking them. Insights Applied to Medicine. Gardening for 40 years combined with studies into the sciences of life with my great YinYang Medicine teacher Arthur Cunningham, has given me insights into the connections of soil, food and health. Wu-Chi Tao school uses martial art for the development of physical, mental and moral integrity of it’s students. I bring my educational skills gained from Wu-Chi Tao into my clinic practice. I carry the wisdom and experience gained as a teacher of activities that promote sound & balanced physical and mental culture into BioChi Clinic as well. Dedicated to Your Health.
